What is Buddy thankful for this year...

Today we begin to prepare ourselves for Thanksgiving and I am left with the thought of "What am I, Buddy Wilson thankful for". Yeah I am thankful for the usual things, a warm bed, the never-ending bowl of food, yummy treats, walks, toys, etc. But I think this holiday I am thankful for so much more.

Last year this time my two-legger and I had just moved from the house in Hayward were we shared our life with two-legger named John and a Doberman named Monkey Love. I had only been with them for about six month at that point and was very smitten with that female Money Love. But the relationship between the two-leggers had gone sour, which I hear happens from time to time.

So this brings me to one of the things that I am thankful for, my two-legger still arranges play dates between Monkey Love and I! That two-legger is pretty cool that way she knows that Monkey Love is one of the few dogs we know that is a great grappler/play fighter.

Recently I was introduced to FaceBook and have met some absolutely amazing dogs and two-leggers there. Both my two-legger and I were humbled by their compassion, exhilarated by their humor and inspired by their ingenuity. Soon after meeting Nigel Buggers and Chester Hoover I began and reading their blogs that inspired me to begin writing a blog about my experiences.

And this bring me to the next thing I am thankful for, my friends! You all are what keeps a smile on my face each and every day, you pick me up when I feel beaten down so I can continue fighting the injustices in this world. You inspire me to be better than I ever thought I could be. Thank you and I hope to return the favor someday.
